Professional Japanese Gardener Experience
Walking around Onoe area of Hirakawa City, you can feel a sense of the freshness and warmth from the combination of lively green hedges and well-maintained trees. It all started in Meiji Era, when Moriyoshi Seito, the head of the Seito family, built Seibien began to hire the local farmers who were suffering from a poor harvest as daily laborers to help with his garden. Farmers acquiring the landscaping skills started to approach the techniques at their home, and landscape gardening became locally popular all over in the region. This idea to save farmers created a thriving gardening culture that has been passed down to the present day and flourished many professional gardeners in this neighborhood.
